We are super excited to announce that we, for the third year in a row, have won an award at the Learning Technologies Awards in London!

ViVA, developed by Cadpeople in cooperation with the Knowledge Center for Welfare Technology West Denmark (VVFV) and the Danish Technological Institute, has won silver in the category “Most innovative new learning technologies product – international” at the internationally prestigious Learning Technologies Awards!

The Learning Technologies Awards are internationally recognized and prestigious because of the wide array of participants, and the bar is set extremely high for any recipient. Therefore, we are honored to receive this recognition and take great pride in the hard work we have done together.

– This award means the world to us! We aim at exploring new frontiers while bringing the best possible education for the future caregivers – because our future depends on them in a world where we live longer and the elderly population increases rapidly. This award helps us to improve the image for education as a whole, and, on a daily basis, it creates value. Some of our students today have difficulties learning by reading books and writing long essays. But learning by doing in virtual reality really helps the students understand, and it helps educational institutions like us train more students in welfare technologies, says René Martin Larsen, Manager of the Knowledge Center for Welfare and Assistive Technology West Denmark.

Also shortlisted this year was NOLA, developed by Cadpeople and Nordic Praxis, in the category “Best use of mobile learning”. Unfortunately, it did not receive an award this year.

It’s our fifth shortlisting in as many years – but these shortlistings don’t exactly grow on trees. How did Cadpeople become a pioneer in digital learning?
Thomas Juel, Partner & CSO at Cadpeople, explains:

– We specialize in creating fun and engaging learning experiences. We translate complex learning content to intuitive and visually appealing learning and courses that are easy to access, no matter your qualifications – and we take advantage of the newest digital tools. We realized several years ago that we could apply our understanding of communications and digital technology in the field of digital learning. So, today, digital learning is one of our key business areas.
