The challenge
Standing out in an assistive world
When two market-leading companies, LINAK® and TENTE®, join forces to create a groundbreaking product, expectations run high.
LINAK, a Danish leader in electric linear actuator systems, and TENTE, a German expert in mobility solutions, recognised the potential in combining their strengths. Together, they developed WeAssist™ - a smart wheel designed to make hospital bed handling more ergonomic and efficient for healthcare staff. The challenge was communicating this story and presenting such a technical product in a clear, engaging way.
The solution
A virtual world
As usual in these processes, we kicked off with an extensive workshop to uncover the unique selling points and craft a clear communication strategy. Alongside LINAK and TENTE, we explored the product's core values and its impact on users. Discussions spanned installation and maintenance to how WeAssist improves the working environment and could even become a factor in staff recruitment.
This process helped us gain a precise understanding of the product and its potential. We developed an interactive digital tool from this foundation - a virtual environment that acts as a demonstration and explanation tool. It enables users to explore WeAssist intuitively, showcasing both the technical features and the benefits for healthcare staff.

MEET THE TEAM
The x factor
WeAssist is unique because we combined Real-time 3D elements with Rendered backgrounds in a responsive design framework. We also had the challenge of developing a new interactive 'Ramp Simulator,' in which a 3D nurse changes posture while pushing or pulling the hospital bed. To enable all this and ensure it worked across various devices, we had to build the application and graphics using a web game engine and optimise 3D models and animation to deliver a responsive experience for all users.
The value
Collaboration and global potential
The collaboration between LINAK and TENTE exemplifies how two established companies can create something truly unique. Through rigorous research and development, they combined their expertise to deliver a market-leading product with the power to revolutionise ergonomics and working conditions in hospitals worldwide.
The digital tool we created played a key role in the product’s launch at the MEDICA trade fair. It enabled the team to present WeAssist in a way that captured both the intricate technical details and the human benefits. With its potential to set a new global standard in the healthcare sector, WeAssist is a reflection of what cross-border collaboration can achieve.
The perspective
A lasting impact
WeAssist is more than just a piece of technology. It’s about people. By easing the workload of healthcare staff and improving their working environment, the product has the potential to attract and retain employees in a sector facing constant staffing challenges.
