Developer recognised for innovative contributions to renewable energy
We’re proud to announce that Sylvester, one of our developers, has been nominated for the Fagtalent Award in the category ‘Green Transition’, recognising his work on digital simulators used in the green energy sector.
As Technical Lead, Sylvester has significantly contributed to our work with digital simulators. His expertise has helped turn our digital simulators for the wind industry into versatile tools now adapted across multiple sectors, broadening their impact and scalability. This advancement enables organisations to optimise performance, reduce costs, and improve safety through realistic virtual environments.
The Fagtalent Award honours young professionals under 36 who are leading sustainable solutions. It highlights those who help shape the future of green energy and sustainable industries through talent, dedication, and innovation.
We are very pleased to see Sylvester recognised for his achievements in this area, and we look forward to the ongoing impact of his work with us at Cadpeople and in the field.
This video shows the moment we surprised Sylvester with the news of his nomination during a Monday morning meeting.
I’m just working away, and in that routine, I don’t often think about whether it means anything in the grand scheme of things. So, to have someone nominate me, and for that nomination to actually lead to this recognition, is a huge acknowledgment of my talent and skills in my field. I’m absolutely thrilled about it; it boosts my morale and reassures me that I’m working towards something valuable.
