The challenge
Visualising complex science
Explaining highly technical, cutting-edge medical technology in a way that’s engaging, simple, and effective is no small task - especially when the target audience includes potential investors, grant providers, and medical stakeholders. That was the challenge posed by the creators of the E-islet Viability Scanner: a groundbreaking innovation in diabetes research that enables the precise scanning of islet cells before transplantation.
They needed a pitch-ready explainer video that could clearly communicate the scanner’s value - fast.
Excellent staff who had good ideas and concepts that met with us and actively helped develop the animation.

The solution
Turning science into a story worth sharing
Cadpeople created a short, animated explainer that turns complex science into a clear, compelling pitch. The video introduces the E-islet Viability Scanner and explains how it solves a key problem in islet transplantation: identifying which cells are viable before use.
We worked closely with the client’s research team to strike the right balance between simplicity and scientific accuracy. The result is a focused visual narrative that’s easy to understand and hard to ignore — ideal for pitches, funding rounds, and stakeholder meetings.
The value
A small video with a big role to play
The finished video has become a vital tool in the E-islet team’s communication strategy. It simplifies pitch presentations, accelerates conversations with potential funders, and supports applications to accelerators and innovation programs. Instead of spending valuable minutes explaining the technology from scratch, the team can now start every conversation with clarity and confidence.
The value
Virtual product showcase
Intellian’s new universe enables them to take potential business partners and clients by the hand and show products and tell them stories. Distance and time have now become less of a challenge for Intellian who can now give tours of their universe and showcase their solutions as if it was real life.
