If companies wish to be at the forefront of the wind industry, non-technical skills become more and more important.

Site Responsibles lead the way on-site – also when it comes to safety.

It is not enough to know the right safety procedures, planning, and reaching project milestones to be a great Site Responsible at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. Human skills are just as essential to practice and train to lead the way on safety.

So, we developed e-learning that teaches Site Responsibles how to ‘live’ safety.

Time to reflect on learning

A Buddy – a typical Site Responsible – helps the learners ‘translate’ what is being said by the speaker in the learning modules.

The Buddy makes the learning content more tangible and relatable by adding everyday examples and scenarios, and by taking the time to reflect on the learning loudly.

Leadership training

The e-learning focuses on, reflects upon, and consist of exercises concerning:

  • Communication
  • Situation Awareness
  • Attitude
  • Encouraging trust and collaboration within a team
  • Being a role model
  • Having the courage and skills to make difficult decisions
