Technical Visualisation that makes the complex simple
At Cadpeople, we specialise in technical visualisation that bridges the gap between intricate engineering and engaging storytelling. We work with technologies that are often hidden behind layers of abstraction: industrial systems, mechanical components, energy processes, digital infrastructures. Our job is to make those systems visible, understandable, and meaningful.
What is Technical Visualisation?
When we receive a CAD model or a STP file, we investigate the weld assembly points, the gear ratios, the flow systems. We ask questions. What does this part do? Why is it shaped like that? Where is it different from competitors? We talk to engineers, product owners, and technicians. We read documentation. We build understanding before we build visuals.
The result is not just a 3D render. It’s a visualisation that carries weight. It shows how a product works, how it’s assembled, how it fits into a larger system. It’s technically accurate, but also narratively clear. Because we believe that every technical system has a story, and that story deserves to be told well.

Our team is made up of specialists who have spent years inside the industries we visualise.
We have been in the game for more than 30 years. Even if we haven’t worked with your product before, we will have worked with others just as technical; and that expertise means we’ll get to the core of yours as well.
Meet some of the team

Nuno Salguerio, Visualisation specialist
Nuno has virtually visited every corner of the VESTAS V236 offshore wind turbine from switch gear to pitch system.

Rob Foley, Real-time 3D lead
Rob has animated movement and controls for hundreds of LINAK's actuators and has expertly built these into example applications from desks to hospital beds.

Craig Robertson, Visualisation Lead
Craig has carefully studied every nut, bolt and weld seam on Husqvarna's series of Shotblaster machines to produce truly accurate 3D visuals.

Antonio Rodriguez, 3D generalist
Antonio has comprehensive understanding of Topsoe's SOEC electrolyser process from individual fuel cell to full plant design.
We often work with models that are raw, incomplete, or visually un-appealing. That’s part of the challenge. We clean them up, add the correct materials, simulate realistic lighting, and build scenes that reflect how the product is actually used. We annotate, dissect, and reassemble. We show what’s inside, how it moves, how it connects. We make the invisible visible.
How we work
We create 3D content that makes technical complexity clear and communicable.
From CAD to final visuals, we handle the full pipeline: modelling, texturing, lighting, animation, and rendering.
Our 3D
capabilities
Technical awareness
Highly technically adept 3D team possessing good communication skills and analytic abilities. Team members with backgrounds in Architecture, Product Design and Engineering.
3D Model library
Extensive 3D model library collected over 25 years, including branded and generic models from across the renewable energy sector.
Render farm
Quick and cost-effective turnaround of animation rendering utilising our 3 THz in-house render farm running 24/7 365 days a year. Seamless scalability to cloud rendering for further capacity.
Review process
Documented review process using powerful online review platform, allowing multiple stakeholder feedback in one place and complete overview over published output versions.
Whether you're working in 3dsmax, Archicad, Spatia, Microstation, or Cinema 4D, we’ve got you covered.
Our pipeline supports virtually any 3D or CAD format, so you can keep working in the tools you know, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Compatible with your
workflow
We’ve worked with companies like FLS, Liebherr, Intellian, and Topsoe to visualise everything from fuel cells to mining operations to satellite communication systems. In each case, the challenge is the same: how do you show something that’s hard to explain? How do you make someone feel confident that you understand their world?
That’s where our experience comes in. We’ve built a setup that allows for deep review, close collaboration, and technical precision.
At the end of the day, technical visualisation is not (just) about making things look good. It’s about making things make sense.
Making things make
sense in 3D
When it comes to communicating complex products, marketing teams are often caught between two extremes: either they receive sparse technical input that lacks depth, or they’re handed dense, jargon-heavy material from subject matter experts. Neither is ideal.
That’s where technical visualisation comes in.
We translate intricate product knowledge into clear, compelling visuals that meet the needs of your marketing or learning teams - without compromising on technical accuracy.
✦ You provide the CAD model, the technical references
✦ We extract the USPs and craft the visual story
No need for prototypes, expensive photoshoots, or endless revisions. You get photorealistic, high-end visuals that speak to both engineers and marketeers, delivered faster, with full creative control.
